KIDS PRE-CONNECT (PRE-K – GRADE 2)

 Each week we will focus on a different lesson, focusing on God’s love for His children.
 Children will be given a small snack and drink to enjoy (please inform us of any food allergies and send in a suitable snack, if necessary).
 Most weeks will involve a craft that relates to that week’s lesson.
 Children will spin the wheel to win special Kids Connect Bucks each week, which they can redeem for small prizes or save up to buy larger prizes.

KIDS CONNECT (GRADE 3 – GRADE 6)

 Each week we will start with a fun game, experiment, or demonstration, introducing that week’s Bible topic.
 Most weeks will involve a craft that relates to that week’s lesson.
 Children will share their real-life experiences as they relate to the lesson of the week.
 Some weeks a short object lesson video, involving that week’s topic, will be shown.
 Children will be given a small snack and drink to enjoy (please inform us of any food allergies and send in a suitable snack, if necessary).
 Children will spin the wheel to win special Kids Connect Bucks each week, which they can redeem for small prizes or save up to buy larger prizes.

KIDS RE-CONNECT (GRADE 7 AND OLDER)

 2 Youth Volunteers will be assigned each week to assist teachers in Kids Pre-Connect and Kids Connect
 2 Youth Volunteers will be assigned each week to assist with the Kids Connect Bucks and Prizes
 Youth Volunteers must fill out a volunteer application. They will then receive a schedule of which weeks they will be volunteering. Youth in Grade 7 and older, who are not serving as volunteers on a given week, will attend the regular church service.

General Description of Program:

Our three-level Kids Connect program at Our Savior Lutheran Church is a dynamic children’s experience that is offered every Sunday during our 10:30 am service. It is designed for kids to build friendships, have fun, and grow in their faith. Through interactive Bible lessons, crafts, games, snacks, and other activities, kids learn about God and Jesus in a way they can understand! As an added bonus, kids earn Kids Connect Bucks for attendance and participation, redeemable for special prizes each week! Kids Connect is a safe, welcoming space where children connect with each other and with God.
